Lore on how you obtained the item:
After initially recovering a spec ops LMG from an android during its raid on the Aries Base in more recent times, it decided that with the more recent hearings of mobs of O.N.I.'s infected army, it needed something far more destructive than what it previously had access to.
It first began by scanning the weapon and getting schematics for it with such a scan before it truly began to get to work, spending several hours simply coming up with possible ways to modify the weapon to hold more devastating capabilities. Several 'ideas' came up, from small missile launching attachments, to a grenade launcher attached under the end of the barrel. In the end, it decided that micro missile attachments would be the best, as well as a sort of knife attachment on the end and a new paint job.
First off, it began to work on schematics for the micro-missile attachments, as well as the ammunition to be made for it. Using schematics for larger missiles and missile chambers that were usually attachments for ships, it scaled down the design and then got to work with re-designing the mini missiles to go off when all missiles fired in a cluster at a given time hit something, even if it wasn't specifically their marks. These chambers were placed near the beginning of the barrel. After that, it began to add to the schematics a sort of bayonet for the rifle that utilized plasma for the blade, as to make it able to be used against other androids the core for such an attachment was located near the missile-launcher compartment. Along with such, an optical sensor would be installed into the scope, as well as a thermal vision/sensor modification, which would be derived from the target acquisition systems that missile launch bays on typically large vehicles had, this system now being much more condensed into the core that powered the optical sensor.
After that, it simply made the weapon a matte black color in the schematic with red lines along the barrel's outsides. From there, utilizing nanites, it set down the spec ops LMG, and after giving the schematics to the nanites, it would have them add to the weapon, and after likely hours of work on the part of the nanites, it took the weapon in its hands and examined it, as well as the new missiles, loading the weapon, and setting it down for the moment as it remained within the mechanic garage.
