With medium length, choppy black hair falling over her face, and the dark makeup to match, Darcy is a certified punk. Her dark green eyes always have that certain look to them- the look of someone who won't let anyone stop her from a good time. She's almost always seen with a leather jacket, usually covering up an old t-shirt. Her favorite shirt, which she frequently wears, has the faded logo of a long since gone rock band, Queen. The jacket also functions as a cover for her augmented left arm. She's always in jeans of some kind, which range in color. She only has two pairs of shoes: a pair of black combat boots and a pair of Union Jack Converse high tops. She usually wears the latter, to the point where they have an old, worn out look to them. Occupation: Drummer in the rock band The Jetts Personality: Rebel, Tease, Punk, Diva. Darcy is out for the time of her life, and nobody can stand in her way. Friends come and go, men come and go. So be it, let them be pawns in her game of life. What matters is her and the music. Darcy comes across as the happy party-girl, but tick her off and she'll flip faster than you can say "Spiller". Deep underneath the eyeliner and leather, she's hurt and aching, but that's nothing a little alcohol and music can't cure. Personal History: ​ Darcy Elliott Spiller was a born musician, singing before she could talk, and beating on toys far more than she ever played with them. Her parents smiled at the thought, as music was the family achievement. Many years before, their prized family member Luke had fronted a rock band that landed in the now-closed Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. However, their smile faded when Darcy proclaimed that she intended to become a professional drummer. Rock was dead, that ship had sailed long ago. Derby, England was now a run-down town with only the elderly to keep it going, and it takes a village to care for them. Darcy's siblings would tease her for outrageous obsession with the family history, calling her "dead-beat drum-beat". Her parents could only frown and try to dissuade her from her passion for the drums, claiming that the piano was far more practical, especially when helping to care for the elderly of the town. It was around age 14 that Darcy learned one of her favorite sayings: "Fuck no". And with that saying, she ransacked every second-hand store to put together her signature punk style. As her forefather Luke had said, "Whatever I wear, it's gotta have flare so you people can stare". Stare they did, and Darcy soon became the talk of the town. She never cared whether it was good or bad, because any publicity was good publicity. At age 18, the Rebel set out to find the music. 4 months into her endeavor she came across a band in a London dive bar. The band, Slackers, had a sound unlike anything Darcy had ever experienced. And shredding the guitar was the most handsome boy Spiller had ever laid eyes on- Caleb Fleet. As Darcy tapped along, Caleb caught sight of her, and it was love at first sight. After the show the two hit it off. The young and scrappy musicians seemed made for each other, and Darcy couldn't say yes fast enough when he asked her to join his band's tour. Intimidated by Darcy's determination, the band's drummer agreed to let her alternate shows with him. It finally seemed to be materializing- her big break, the life of a rockstar. But once Spiller joined the band, Caleb grew more demanding, and their carefree love soon turned into Darcy's worst nightmare. Rehearsals were more like abuse sessions, and the bandmates feared that speaking up would mean the end of the tour, or worse yet the end of the Slackers. For months, she put up with Caleb, until finally she broke. In one particular rehearsal session, all hell seemed to break loose. Darcy lost her cool, and proceeded to fight with her boyfriend. And then came her big break.... when Caleb smashed his guitar into her left arm. Hurt and heartbroken, Darcy Spiller took her last gig paycheck and booked the first flight as far away from Caleb as she could get. Another planet sounded fine to her, and so Kepler was where she landed. She rented a small flat in the Slums, where she's been living for the past couple of years. In the time that she's been in District 1, she's gotten an augment on her left arm- partially to repair the damage Caleb inflicted, but partially to increase her drumming technique. In a way, her improved drumming is the biggest "F YOU" she could give The Slackers. Though it took a while for Darcy to get over her heartbreak, she grew determined to make the best of her life, and to make sure that nobody would ever screw her over again. Nothing would come between her and the music. If that means breaking the hearts of men, so be it. If it means riding solo and drifting from band to band, so be it.
