The word on the street; for some people it is easy to pick up, others not so much. So depending on who you are, you will know that there are people on the streets of D1 that can help you through means that can only be described as questionably legal.
From guns to land to spaceships, these street dealers can sometimes be found walking the streets of D1.
Killian “Hook” Teach
Killian Teach is mostly known by his street name, "Hook". He gained this nickname by way of two things: his batter metal arm and his reputation as a pirate. He stands at a height of five feet and ten inches, and has greasy jet-black hair. His clothes are tattered, however he carries himself well and speaks in a clean-cut manner.
Word on the street is that Mr. Teach works for a company called "Never-landing Ships". The whereabouts of his "office"is unknown, however he is mostly seen in the port district of D1, where he sells ships for decent prices. The name of his game is deals, and his currency is favors.
"If you're looking for a ship, talk to Hook...but be careful of the deals you make."
CH-4MB-3RS
CH-4MB-3RS is a hulking monolith of an android, standing almost eightfeet tall. Where he came from is unknown, but it is speculated that this this giant was either a construction or military droid at one point. However, given how old he is, he may have also made modifications to himself at some point. Whatever the case may be, this wall of steel is more than slightly intimidating for more than just his looks- he has a reputation for being a hit-man for the local gangs.
Word on the street is that not only does CH-4MB-3RS deal in heads, he also deals in guns. He somehow has access to an interesting array of weaponry, all of which don't seem particularly legal, but they are cheap. You just have to be careful about getting caught.
"If you are looking for good guns at a cheap price, talk to Chambers...
just make sure you're not on his hit-list first..."
Frank Kell AKA “Doc F”
There is a crazy in every bunch, and ex-doctor Frank Kell is no exception. Even though his heart is in the right place, his thought process is questionable to say the least, which has lead to more that a few accidents. Mr. Kell used to be a surgical doctor who had a promising career ahead of him, however when he undertook an illegal augmentation surgery for someone he owed, he was fired from the hospital and his license was revoked. His shock of silver and gray hair, tattered lab coat, and protective goggles give him the appearance of a mad scientist (which is what you would have to be to undertake half the jobs he does).
"Doc F" undertakes all kinds of work to keep his business going; everything from hidden weapons to cybernetic tattoos, he can do it for a range of prices. The only drawback to using his services is that people run the risk of something going wrong- and even then, if the surgery is successful, they now have a questionably legal augment.
"Be careful with that Doc F... He's a good guy, and his prices are better than the
professionals, but even though he has the skills to fit the bills, he's a little under-equipped..."
Gage Lucas
Gage Lucas is a laid-off construction worker with an axe to grind but no trees to chop. He is upset about being laid-off from a job that he felt was his calling in life, but after becoming a little violent after he was given his notice, he was unable to find a job with any other company. So, unable to find someone who would take him, he started his own company: Nail-biter Construction.
Word on the street is that if you want something built cheap or if you are looking to buy land, Nail-biter Construction has you covered. However with the company being so small, it is difficult for them to create sturdy/quality structures without the right kind of pay; their methods for acquisition of land aren't the most legitimate things either.
"Need someone to help you set up shop?
Go and talk to Gage Lucas with Nail-biter Construction.
He can get you set up, but it might be pricey...might not be entirely legal, either..."
IMPORTANT NOTE:
These characters fall in the category of "guest star" NPCs which means that, while these are non-player characters, they are regularly reoccurring characters that you may see on the server from time to time. If you can find where they live or do business, you may even be able to leave them notes. That being said, these particular NPCs are not the most upstanding personalities. Making deals with these characters will either put you in debt with them, or your transaction will be of questionable legality. Make sure you are willing to take risks when you make deals with these characters.
